Syracuse celebrates it's win over then-No. 25 Texas A&M, which helped it gain a No. 14 ranking in the latest Associated Press poll.

After beating two ranked opponents in the Bahamas last week, Syracuse is now ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press Top 25. The Orange was not ranked in the first three polls of the season, and also didn’t receive a single vote.

Last week, Connecticut was ranked 18th and Texas A&M 25th. Syracuse (6-0) beat both of those teams in the Battle 4 Atlantis en route to the tournament’s championship. The Aggies rose to No. 18 while the Huskies dropped out of the Top 25, still receiving the most votes of any unranked team.

Five other Atlantic Coast Conference teams were ranked this week, including three in the top 10. Duke (No. 7), North Carolina (No. 9) and Virginia (No. 10) topped the ACC teams included. Then came the Orange, followed by Miami at No. 21 and Louisville at No. 24.

SU is one of only three remaining undefeated teams in the ACC after Miami lost to Northeastern last week on a buzzer-beater. The Cardinals and Pittsburgh are the other two teams in the conference without a loss.

Syracuse’s next test comes against Wisconsin (4-3) at 7:15 p.m. in the Carrier Dome on Wednesday. The Badgers are 4-3, with losses to Western Illinois, Georgetown and Oklahoma. The Orange will then head to Washington, D.C. to face Georgetown (2-3) for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday. The Hoyas are 2-3, falling to Radford, Maryland and Duke.
